ONE DEPARTMENT

ONE OFFICIAL PATCH. TWO MORALE PATCHES.

We’ve seen some questions about our patches recently, so we wanted to clear up any confusion.

🔵 The oval Stafford Volunteer Fire Department patch is—and remains—our official department patch.

This patch represents all of Stafford Volunteer Fire Department and is used for our official purposes. It is the patch that brings together both sides of our house—Fire and EMS—under one department, one history, and one mission. It represents the legacy of SVFD and Company 2 that dates back to 1962.

🐿️ The two squirrel patches are morale patches created to give our members something additional that represents the specific side of the house where they serve.

🔥 The Engine 2 / Truck 2 “Mid-County Madness” patch represents our Fire side.

🚑 The Ambulance 2 / Medic 2 patch represents our growing EMS side.

These morale patches do not replace or change our official patch. You’ll see them used on things such as T-shirts, station shorts, and other informal department apparel and items. They simply give our Fire and EMS members another way to show pride in the work they do while remaining part of the same Company 2 family.

Our official patch remains at the center of who we are. The morale patches celebrate the teams that serve beneath it.
