| The Stafford Volunteer Fire Department would like to congratulate every climber who took on the challenge today. Every step represented something greater than reaching the top—it represented our commitment to remembering the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.
To the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, first responders, families, friends, and community members who made today possible—thank you. Events like this happen because people are willing to give their time, energy, and support to ensure the promise of “Never Forget” remains more than just words.
And to everyone who climbed today: Congratulations! Whether you climbed in turnout gear, carried the name of a fallen firefighter, climbed alongside a teammate, or simply challenged yourself to finish—you helped carry their memory forward.
25 years later, we still remember. We still honor. And today, we climbed.
