| This morning, members of the Stafford Volunteer Fire Department are joining fellow firefighters, first responders, families, and members of our community at Fred Nats Stadium for something much bigger than ourselves.
Today, we climb in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. We climb for their courage. We climb for their families. We climb to ensure that 25 years later, their names, their service, and their sacrifice are never forgotten.
Every flight of stairs and every step taken today carries meaning.
🇺🇸 343 firefighters. 🚒 One mission—to remember. ❤️ 25 years later, we still keep our promise: NEVER FORGET.
To everyone climbing, volunteering, supporting, and cheering us on today—thank you for helping keep their memory alive.
There’s still an opportunity to support the mission through a donation:
Register or donate to the Stafford County Tunnel to Towers Stair Climb
Today, we climb because they climbed. We remember because they sacrificed.
