In that moment, the world changed. First responders immediately began answering the call—firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, and countless others moving toward danger as thousands sought safety.
Today, the Stafford Volunteer Fire Department pauses to remember those aboard Flight 11, those inside the North Tower, and the first responders who began a response that would ultimately demand unimaginable sacrifice.
