| With storms moving through the area, our members staffed Truck 1502 and Brush 1502, ensuring additional resources were available to answer the call when our community needed us most. Throughout the evening, both apparatus responded to several incidents related to the passing weather.
When the tones weren’t sounding, our members made the most of every opportunity by sharpening their skills through hands-on training. Last night’s focus was on rope utilization and knot tying—fundamental skills that play a critical role in a wide variety of fireground and rescue operations. From securing equipment to technical rescue applications, mastering these basics helps prepare our firefighters for whatever challenges lie ahead.
This is what being a volunteer is all about: answering the call, training to stay ready, and continuously improving so we can provide the highest level of service to our community.
