| At the Stafford Volunteer Fire Department, our EMS providers are everyday people from our community who chose to step forward and make a difference when someone is having the worst day of their life.
As an EMT, you are trained to provide emergency medical care, assess patients, control bleeding, manage airway emergencies, perform CPR, assist with life-saving interventions, and provide compassionate care before a patient ever reaches the hospital.
As an Ambulance Driver, you are a critical part of the EMS team. Drivers are responsible for safely operating emergency vehicles, assisting EMTs on scene, helping with patient movement, equipment setup, and ensuring our crews are ready to respond at a momentβs notice. Without drivers, ambulances do not move.
π¨ No experience? No problem. We provide training opportunities, mentorship, and a team environment that helps you succeed. Whether you are looking for a career in public safety or healthcare, or simply want to give back to your community, there is a place for you here.
This EMS Week, consider becoming part of something bigger than yourself.
π Serve your community π Learn life-saving skills π Build lifelong friendships π Make a real difference
